What is FLEXTEXX?

The Flextexx Curb Box is a commercial Curb Box or Water Box that has been re-engineered to include a flexible joint near the top of the shaft. The purpose of the flexible joint is to incorporate a bendable, resilient segment in the curb box shaft so that the curb box is not permanently damaged when hit or run over during construction.

Once site construction is finished, the shaft length can be adjusted to grade in the same manner as is customarily done with standard, non-flexible, curb boxes. If greater adjustment of the shaft length is necessary, the flexible joint can be removed and the shaft can be lengthened or shortened as needed. Where required, the flexible joint can be replaced with a piece of threaded pipe following completion of construction.
